We are all home, together and healthy.  Wow!  Michellie had a couple of great weeks while I was away.  She was camping, and hiking, visiting and relaxing.  Her eating habits have returned to more of a normal as she is able to eat some wheat products.  We are thrilled.  Upon my arrival home Michellie ended up with some kind of an influenza bug that inflamed an arthritic reaction to her whole body.  So, with a full day of travel, I was back to being a nursemaid through the night.  David took Michellie to Antigonish to the Pediatrician on Friday, and with some strong pain killers for the arthritic pain, she was sent home to recouperate.  Thankfully, the flu symptoms disappeared in 24 hours and the arthritic pain took a few more days only.  She is now back ready to go.  To add to our fun on Friday, as Michellie headed with David to Antigonish, my sister and her family arrived.  My brother-in-law had a stone in his salivary gland that was causing him great pain and swelling in his jaw.  We were able to introduce him to Inverness hospital for two visits.  Never dull around here.  And still, people would not believe that we never used to have a medicine cabinet or had a reason to visit the hospital - CRAZY!

This week Michellie is working on getting a summer job.  There are a few opportunities opening up, so she is looking forward to making some money.  The weather has finally warmed up and we have had a few visits to the beach.  With my family around we are trying to share some of the Island spirit with them.
